Why did you decide to come to Nuxeo?

I was referred by a friend.
I wanted to work for a company where "people" is not just a word and initiative is more than welcome.

Why do you like working at Nuxeo?

I believe in our products and I like to use it everyday.
Although I had an IT education, I learned everything about project management with the best people here.
I like to work with passionate people.

What's unique about your role?

In parallel to my PM work, I'm currently a product owner.
This position requires a lot of skills, like good knowledge of the industry, mastery of our product, the ability to make decisions about our product and to explain its virtues to others.
I like to be part of a team; we help each other and depend on each other. We don't use the usual command-and-control structure, rather our work is based on communication and collaboration.

Why did you decide to come to Nuxeo?

I was referred by a friend as there was an opening for an Executive Assistant at Nuxeo.

Why do you like working at Nuxeo?

Nuxeo has provided me with the opportunity to grow professionally. Individual contributors are given ample opportunities to excel within and outside of their immediate job duties. I simply like what I'm doing.

What's unique about your role?

I learn more and more each day. I really enjoy the variety of tasks.

Why did you decide to come to Nuxeo?

I found Nuxeo on the Internet when I was looking for a part-time internship (3 days/ week at Nuxeo) for my last year of studies.
I had hoped I would find a job in Open Source. After the internship, they offered me a position.

Why do you like working at Nuxeo?

Because I like the people! I'm surrounded by some of the smartest (and yet nicest and humble) engineers – of course it’s easy to be efficient and stay nice when you work with people you like to be with.
Nuxeo has provided me with the opportunity to grow professionally. I've found it very fulfilling.

What's unique about your role?

I get to play with a lot of emerging Open Source technologies, and improve Nuxeo’s products.
My work also requires creating detailed technical design and communicating externally with partners and clients.

Why did you decide to come to Nuxeo?

I had been working for three years in a big end user company as a technical ECM/BPM expert and wanted to work in a smaller environment with people that are constantly thinking and working on the next big idea. Nuxeo was one of my contractors at the time I decided to make the shift.

Why do you like working at Nuxeo?

There are many things I like here : how business and technical teams are mixed, and as a direct consequence, how easy and stimulating it is to talk to passionate core developers and architects. Working at Nuxeo is also an everyday challenge. The market place is big and you really have to deal with many opportunities at the same time. You have to be well-organized, and focused on the essential while gathering the maximum information and knowledge on the technical side that my team mates make constantly available.

What's unique about your role?

I think the most unique part of my role is the global vision you get on the product and the activity of the company : what features would be nice to develop, which ones are already developed, what are our customer's preferences, what features your challengers have, ... You also need to quickly understand what the customer explains and map it to your product constraints, and to imagine hand in hand with your customers how the platform can add value to their business objectives. In the ECM domain, the use cases and contexts can be so different from one customer to the next, that you are never lost in monotony !
