Web UX Designer/Developer
Position Summary

Nuxeo is seeking an enthusiastic Web UX Designer/Developer for its marketing department. This position could be based in Boston, New York, San Francisco or Paris. This person will be in charge of most of Nuxeo's new online developments. She (or he) will have an enthusiasm for online marketing and be a team player working with the marketing team as well as subcontractors.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop the user experience on our website, www.nuxeo.com, from low level server-side development to CSS and Javascript
- Create minor web design elements and help evolve our graphical guidelines
- Develop integrations between various components of our online web presence, such as the various community services (forums, Jira issue tracker, RSS feeds, blogs, etc.) and the corporate website, but also with our hosted “Customization as a Service” platform
- Be responsible for the technical implementation of our lead generation process from the website to the marketing and sales automation software
- Own our website source code repository and be the reference person for any activity involving changes in it
- Collaborate with the rest of the marketing team on various projects, campaigns, and activities
- Provide oversight and direction of outsourced development efforts, ensuring expectations are being met
- Act as a leader and a reference within the company on web analytics, SEM and marketing automation
Required Skills
Candidates should have 1-3 years in web development, with concrete experience in building groundbreaking UX sites. Experience dealing with global teams and collaborating online is essential. Good English communication skills are a must. The following experience might make the difference:
- Experience with eZ Publish Web Content Management software, the software we use to run www.nuxeo.com
- Experience with systems like Typepad, Jira, Confluence, Wordpress and Git
- Real pragmatic experience with client side programming and designing, such as skills and interest in Ajax, Javascript, CSS and XHTML skills
- A good understanding of Google Analytics and the ability to orchestrate A/B testing campaigns with Google Analytics or other tools
- Knowledge of writing for the web, designing web assets and using a Web Content Management system is a plus
- As all web developers should have -- good knowledge of Apache, Linux, MySQL and all other components involved in the Web software stack
