Nuxeo Announces Global Conference for Open Source ECM Customers and Partners
PARIS — September 29, 2011. Nuxeo, the provider of an open source content management platform for business applications, is hosting global customers and partners at Nuxeo World 2011 in Paris, France, on October 20-21 at Le Théâtre des Variétés. Nuxeo World is the worldwide conference for customers, partners and Nuxeo product experts to discuss success stories and technical knowledge around open source enterprise content management (ECM) and the Nuxeo Platform.
The conference is an opportunity for the Nuxeo community and the open source ECM ecosystem to network and attend sessions by Nuxeo architects and developers, partners and customers. Company executives, including opening speaker CEO Eric Barroca, will highlight strategy and roadmap for 2012, with an exclusive look at upcoming product releases. Other speakers and topics will include:
- ECM Market Trends– Laurence Hart is director of technology for Washington Consulting and long-time ECM practitioner known for his analysis of trends. Hart will discuss ECM and the cloud and how, given exponential growth of information, the future of ECM is there, and what will enable this migration.
- Eclipse Foundation on an Open Source Innovation Network for Industry – Nuxeo is a long-time Eclipse Foundation member, and recently contributed core Nuxeo technology. Ralph Mueller, director of Eclipse Europe, will discuss the value of the Eclipse collaborative development process for commercial and industry-specific initiatives. In addition, an Eclipse Foundation Demonstration Camp is included.
- The Nuxeo Roadmap, Technical Vision and Strategy – Roland Benedetti, Nuxeo vice president of products and marketing, and Thierry Delprat, Nuxeo chief technology officer, will present the Nuxeo roadmap, with an exclusive look at upcoming product releases, and Nuxeo’s technical vision for ECM and the technological strategy that follows from it.
