Nuxeo Opens U.S. Headquarters in NYC
New York, NY & Paris, France – Jan. 17, 2012 – Nuxeo, the provider of an open source content management platform for business applications, today announced the opening of its U.S. headquarters in New York City. The company initially expanded into the United States in 2009, and already has offices in Boston and Silicon Valley.
Building on the growth of its business in North America and the overall momentum of the company, Nuxeo has established a footprint in the New York tech scene. The new Silicon Alley site is much more than just another office, as Nuxeo has decided to locate its CEO and executives there. The company also plans to set up a technical team at their new site.
“The NYC tech community is a vibrant and promising environment for an innovative software company,” said Eric Barroca, Nuxeo CEO. “NYC is ideally located between Silicon Valley and Europe, making it a good central location for our global business. There is also an active Java community in New York, with many skilled developers, which is another good reason for Nuxeo to be here.”
With this new office, Nuxeo continues its expansion in the U.S., and is looking for more talent to join the team. While new team members could be located either in the new NYC office, or in the Boston or Silicon Valley offices, Nuxeo is actively seeking to reinforce its operations in the areas of technical writing, pre-sales, online marketing and community management.
