| Secure Infrastructure from Amazon Web Services
Nuxeo Cloud relies on Amazon Web Services for the hosting of the Nuxeo servers. Each of our Nuxeo Cloud customers runs on one or more Amazon Instances on the AWS EC2 service. All servers run on an Amazon Machine Image (AMI). Development servers run on-demand AMI, with no persistence and no back-up. There is a simple reason for that: they are not made to run persistent data and all the software, configuration settings, and potential custom developments are stored on the Nuxeo Connect infrastructure. You disagree? We'd love to discuss it with you, but we are, of course, also prepared to provide different tailor-made setups. Production servers are slightly different. Depending on your choice of Nuxeo Cloud packages, they will rely on different types of AMI, and will have different storage capabilities, but they all come with persistent storage based on Amazon Elastic Block Store.
