Document creation process
Nuxeo EP 5 provides two ways to create documents:
Creation with webforms
The document creation process starts with the author choosing the document type, and the filling of metadata through the webform. It is then possible to associate an Office document template to this document.
This kind of association is very useful to merge metadata filled in the Nuxeo EP 5 application into the Office document and to produce an MS Word document or a PDF directly from the document management system.
Use drag and drop
The drag and drop option is a very useful feature to perform a bulk upload of existing Office documents and folders (even hierarchies of folders) into the system. Then end users have the ability to edit the documents uploaded and their metadata with standard webforms.
