How does Nuxeo EP manage folders?
Folders are created using a web interface with standard document creation forms. Another option is to drag and drop an existing folder from the desktop to the web browser to add it in the document management system.
A user can create an unlimited number of level within a folder, there is no naming convention applied.
A folder could be customized in several ways:

Nuxeo provides a full AJAX interface in which it is possible to drag and drop every content item (document, folders, etc.).
Does Nuxeo EP support storing a single document in multiple folders to limit redundant documents?
Nuxeo use the concept of proxy to achieve this requirement.
Can more than one user view the same document at once?
Yes, it is the default behaviour of the application.
Does Nuxeo EP require any proprietary plug-ins for document viewing? If so please describe.
The solution does not require any proprietary plug-ins for document viewing.
Does Nuxeo EP support document version control? and to what level? (e.g. major, minor versioning, meta-data versioning, etc.)
The solution supports document version control. Nuxeo provides minor and major versioning to the level of the document or the metadata.
The user may choose the level of version control he need to apply or it could be triggered automatically by the workflow.

Does Nuxeo EP support complex document types?
The solution supports PDF, DOC, XLS, PPT, VSD, HTML, ZIP, ODF, ODS, ODT, JPG, GIF, PNG, JPEG, XML, common office format documents, IDU Interleaf, FrameMaker, TXT and CSV.
It is possible to store more than one file by document object.
Does Nuxeo EP have the ability to create categories of documents, by retention period, similar indices and security?
Yes. The system can create document categories through saved queries (a search query can be saved so that it can be reused at a later time). This feature could be used to create categories of documents matching certain criteria.
