Nuxeo EP 5 provides an Audit service which has the ability to log all system and user activity. This service maintains a complete log of all actions performed in the system and exposes it through a dedicated user interfaces (e.g. on a document, the history tab shows the audit log of all actions performed on the document).
By default, audit is available via the tab history on :
  • Documents
  • Workspaces
  • Sections
The default behavior of this component includes a tracking of :
  • Document creation
  • Document edition
  • Workflow activity
  • Document locking
  • Document versioning
All archived versions of a document can be consulted or retrieved from the history component of Nuxeo EP.
All data managed by the history and audit component can be exported to be used in a business intelligence solution to create business reports.
