Main definition
Nuxeo EP 5 allows the definition of access rights on all metadata/properties qualifying a document (on the field level). A manager can easily define for a user or a group of users Write or Read rights for each field of a document.
Types of rights
There are three types of rights on a document’s properties:

Management: the user is able to delegate rights on the property or a set of properties

Write: the user is able to modify the values of the field

Read: the user is able to read the values of the property (when a user does not have a Read right on a property he can see neither its title nor its value)
