The Audit Service manages the global audit trail of the system. It listens for events when an action occurs and logs it into the audit trail with some information related to the action (content object, operation performed, username, date/time, optional comment, etc.).
The service can be configured to log specific information when an action occurs to closely match a client’s need.
Moreover, the Audit Service offers a high-level of reliability (for example, it can be configured to roll back a transaction if it cannot be logged due to external circumstances) and is approved by the French Defense Administration.
