Nuxeo SP includes an Imaging Service that provides picture processing features. It relies on the high-performance Mistral component that offers distributed picture processing and pluggable backend.
This service can be used by applications to perform operations on pictures such as resize, crop, rotate, etc.
This component also provides the MultiViewPicture DocumentAdapter that manages several views of a picture on a single document (to store the high-definition picture as reference view and manage, for example, 4 smaller views for usage in different contexts).
Moreover, when a picture is uploaded, the system can extract metadata from the picture and automatically fill content object metadata in the system.
