At Nuxeo, we are committed to the continued success of our customers as well as the health and wellbeing of our employees. In light of the current concerns related to COVID-19, it is timely that we reaffirm these commitments.

First, we do not foresee any impact to the delivery of our Nuxeo Cloud service and, as always, we are committed to keeping our service up and running for our customers worldwide. Our Nuxeo Cloud service – which leverages the AWS Cloud and its global network of 69 availability zones across 22 geographic regions – is designed for resiliency, high availability, and continued operations without any service interruptions.

Second, our employees are Nuxeo’s most valuable asset. Their safety, health, and continued wellbeing are of our utmost concern. All of our employees have the ability to (and often do) work from home. As a result, they have all of the resources and tools that they need to perform work from any location. We will continue to carefully monitor and consider the advice of the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control, the U.S. Department of State, and other local government and health officials where our employees live and work. And, based on this guidance, we will make informed decisions about remote work and office closures.

It is the very nature of Nuxeo that we enjoy a diverse, globally dispersed, and flexible remote workforce. Therefore, we are well prepared to manage any business continuity challenge virtually. Our approach is to ensure that our service remains fully available to our customers regardless of external circumstances or adverse events. As an open-source offering and in keeping with our “Open Kitchen” philosophy, we will also keep channels open for timely communications with our customers and other stakeholders.

Another important aspect of having a global, remote workforce is that our employees make frequent use of and are very effective with virtual meeting technologies, like Zoom and GoToMeeting. Technologies like these enable us to manage globally distributed teams and to effectively communicate with customers, partners and other employees from various remote locations. In this manner, we expect to be able to continue to support ongoing and new projects to deploy our Nuxeo Platform or Cloud service and do not anticipate disruptions in our delivery services. If travel is absolutely necessary, we will comply with our customers’ travel and onsite meeting directives and will give our employees absolute discretion as to if, when, and where they travel.

It’s simple. Our customers’ success is our success. And our employees are critical to our customers’ success. In unfortunate circumstances like these, we remain committed to both our customers and employees. And, we have plans in place – as well as a global infrastructure and distributed, virtual team – to ensure that our business continues to operate so that our customers can focus on their businesses.

We will continue to assess our plans and share any relevant updates.
