If you’ve been following us for a while then you know we’re always looking into how we can improve everything we do here at Nuxeo. And that includes new and improved office spaces locations.
Earlier this year, we moved the London team to the very trendy Shoreditch area. Our Paris team is about to move to a new location after outgrowing our existing space (and we wish them good luck!). And the big news for us is that we’re moving into a new US headquarters office in Brooklyn!
We’ll Miss you WillieB, but Here We Come Dumbo!
We had a blast in our old Brooklyn neighborhood of Williamsburg. We moved there in 2013 and it felt like home. But since our Nuxeo team in New York has grown so rapidly in recent years, it was time for us to step up our game and move into a location better suited to accommodate our current team and our anticipated growth.
So we found a new home in Dumbo (in case you’re wondering Dumbo = Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass). Ever since this neighborhood was discovered in the 1880’s, factories, warehouses, and dock storehouses implemented there. And now, it could not get more instagrammable than this: we’re right under the spotlights of worldwide bloggers, Hollywood movie productions, and a lot of NY tourists in awe in front of our of magnificent skyline. This neighborhood has been classified Historic District.
It’s also an always-changing neighborhood where many prominent companies have established their HQs. While we’re sad to have left our neighbors Vice & Kickstarter in Williamsburg, we thrilled to have new neighbors like Etsy or Amplify or HUGE!
Of course, inside, we tried to keep the warehouse spirit – just adding our Nuxeo touch. We’ll be adding more of our own “finishing touches” to our new NY HQ over the next few months.
